Our country has been a member of the European Molecular Biology Conference (EMBC), which provides financial support to the European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO), one of the leading organizations in the field of life sciences in the world, since 1993.

Applications can be made until 1 March 2023 for the course and workshop organization support, which is among the various scholarship programs and supports provided by EMBO to scientists, doctoral students, and postdoctoral researchers from EMBC member countries.

The practical/theoretical course or workshop to be organized should be in the field of Life Sciences and should be suitable for the topics under EMBO, including Cell and Tissue Architecture, Cellular Metabolism, Chromatin and Transcription, Development, Differentiation and Death, Evolution and Ecology, Genome Stability and Dynamics, Genomics and Computational Biology, Immunology, Membranes and Transport, Microbiology, Virology and Pathogens, Molecular Medicine, Neuroscience, Plant Biology, Proteins and Biochemistry, RNA, Signal Transduction, Structural Biology and Biophysics, Systems Biology.

The workshop should be held in any of the EMBC member or collaborative countries, including Austria, Hungary, Norway, Belgium, Iceland, Poland, Croatia, Ireland, Portugal, Czech Republic, Israel, Slovak Republic, Denmark, Italy, Slovenia, Estonia, Lithuania, Spain, Finland, Luxembourg, Sweden, France, Malta, Switzerland, Germany, Montenegro, Turkey, Greece, Netherlands, United Kingdom, India, Singapore, Chile National Research and Development Agency (ANID), Taiwan National Science and Technology Council (NSTC).
